Cherry Topped’s fantastic organisational skills are only matched by their brilliant stakeholder management (client/suppliers) and creativity. Stacey-Marie was obviously born to be a wedding planner, it is clear from her focus and dedication that she loves it and she ensures you have the day you both always wanted!
From the amazing proposal, then the style proposal/guides, timetables and briefings given to suppliers, I realised I had found gold. Cherry Topped found suppliers that met both what we wanted but were also great to deal with. It felt like everyone wanted to be involved, not just doing it for a job.
It was a very difficult time for us, with my Mum being very ill. Cherry Topped made planning the wedding “fun” again – we could enjoy deciding on finishing touches without feeling overwhelmed with the whole day.
Stacey-Marie gave us both (and my family, especially my Mum) the wedding day we have always dreamt of. Honestly, I cannot fully articulate how wonderful the day was and the wonderful memories we all have of it. She is a credit to the wedding planner industry.
I had never known anyone use a wedding planner, so I was apprehensive and wasn’t sure how they could add value. Well, I am now evangelical! Cherry Topped saved us money and worry by finding suppliers that met what we wanted to achieve. The wedding industry is so enormous, I felt overwhelmed by choice. Cherry Topped helped us articulate what we did and didn’t want and found us the best suppliers to meet our needs and budget. If that wasn’t enough, Stacey-Marie set up the venue, actually made some of the decorations, coordinated all our suppliers so we could just focus on enjoying our wedding day. I know other friends spent their wedding day worrying about suppliers being late/not doing what was agreed – we didn’t for a second as Cherry Topped had everything in hand!
Everyone at the wedding commented on the design, the natural flow of the day and how smoothly everything went. This is solely down to the hard work, professionalism and unflap-ability of Cherry Topped! The day was perfect, and knowing from events I have organised, this is because Cherry Topped were three steps ahead of everything/one to ensure it all went perfectly!

“Planning a wedding does not seem to be complicated and a lot of people manage to do everything on their own. However, one needs time and original ideas to make the day special. By hiring Cherry Topped, we solved both of these problems! We stayed in total control of everything as we were making the decisions and giving ideas, but Stacey-Marie was here to make everything happen and guide us through the process. The whole preparation went so smoothly as we knew that Cherry topped was here and had everything under control. Stacey-Marie brought all of our ideas to life and added the extra touch which made everything look stunning! Our guests were so impressed with the whole organisation and we only have good memories from the organisation and also on the actual wedding day.
Cherry Topped was perfect on the wedding day! Stacey-Marie managed to make everything happen as planned, she was very discreet which is what we were expecting. All of our guests admired the organisation, the decoration of the tables and venue and Cherry Topped’s professionalism.
All the suppliers recommended by Cherry Topped were very professional. Stacey-Marie helped us to ask and find the right skills into a supplier which we would have missed if she was not with us. With no experience in organising a wedding, we would not have been able to ask the right questions (i.e. liability insurance, hidden cost) and find the best suppliers.

“I can’t really find the words to express just how grateful we are for everything that you did! It really was a beautiful day – not just beautiful for us, but for everyone. I would not change a single thing and think we are so very lucky to have had you.
Cherry Topped’s service was exemplary – the whole day went without a single hitch and we did not spend even so much as a minute of our day worrying or even thinking about any of the logistical aspects. Stacey-Marie had that all under control from the very start – we can only admire (and envy!) her organisational skills. The suppliers were great, the caricaturist was a fantastic choice who fitted our type of wedding perfectly and the string quartet was a great find – our guests loved their modern classics any many people commented on how good they were and how much fun it was to have a string quartet playing Oasis!
We wish that we could sit down with every would-be bride and groom contemplating using Cherry Topped’s services and explain to them why they would be mad not to do so! Cherry Topped took away all the stress of organising our wedding day which meant that we could just enjoy it. As two busy (and not very artistic) professionals, Stacey-Marie’s creative input was also invaluable. We had so many comments on the beautiful colour scheme, the gorgeous flowers and the extra special little touches you thought of, all of which were Cherry Topped creations.
