Stacey-Marie launched Cherry Topped out of a passion for wanting to provide engaged couples with a truly enjoyable wedding planning experience, leading to a beautiful stress free wedding unique to them. Stacey-Marie is driven by providing her clients with an attentive and dedicated service right from the beginning, listening to exactly what her clients require.
Background
With a background in purchasing, Stacey-Marie has many professional skills equally transferable to planning your wedding: devising a realistic time line and wedding day schedule; research and negotiation; as well as keen budget monitoring.
Aside from the business qualities which Stacey-Marie possesses she has a natural creative flair which she has developed and enhanced through informal courses and self study in artwork, floristry, needlework and headdress making. Stacey-Marie’s artistic side is complimented by the true care and consideration she applies to everything she does.
Training
Stacey-Marie has trained with the UK Alliance of Wedding Planners (UKAWP) which is highly recognised within the wedding industry. The training courses are comprehensive and interactive, ensuring a high level of wedding planning and coordination theory as well as practical experience. As a Member of the UKAWP, Cherry Topped abides by the strict code of ethics in support of ensuring the credibility of the wedding planning industry:
- Respond to enquiries within 48 hours
- Respect client confidentiality
- Disclose all suppliers Cherry Topped have a vested interest in
- Always pass discounts and/or commission onto clients
- Ensure Public Liability insurance is up to date
- Never give client details to any third party unless for the sole purpose of the wedding
- Respect copyright of all planners, co-ordinators and related suppliers
- Represent each client fairly and honestly
- Use legally sound business contracts with clients.
